He enrolled in school to obtain an associates degree in Horticulture and became an ISA certified arborist. Zeke has worked on huge scale projects from the beginning, managing multiple acre estates, organizing tree care for HOA’s with thousands of trees, and overseeing municipal contracts held by ITP that involved pruning and caring for city trees and right of way trees numbering in the thousands. Since the inception of ITP, Zeke has never been content to rest on his laurels and has constantly pursued more education and certifications. He is one of the only commercial arborists in Boise to hold the ISA Certified Tree Risk Assessor certification. Zeke is one of the most progressive, respected and knowledgeable arborists in the community. Ezekiel has aimed for excellence, integrity and continued education, constantly working to improve his skills in Arboriculture and his understanding of trees and the factors which impact them.  From climbing and pruning daily as Lead Climber, creating our Plant Health Care division and continuing to study and understand tree failure, he is uniquely qualified to provide expert opinion, analysis, and recommendations on all aspects of tree care.

Ezekiel’s ITP responsibilities: Lead Climber and Crew Manager, responsible for all safety training and procedures, as well as researching the latest technology in climbing gear to be sure we are using the best systems possible, and assure the least impact and best care for the trees. Zeke does all client meetings, which include diagnosis and research to recommend a care plan, tree health and Tree Risk Assessments, pruning and removal recommendations, and formal tree damage and/or replacement appraisals. Zeke built this business from the ground up, completely motivated by his quest for knowledge and to share that knowledge with the community, so that our trees will receive proper care and continue to be valuable resources. He has extremely high standards and ethics, which has proved to be an uncommon commodity in the tree care industry. One of the major goals of ITP is to change the public’s perception of tree care workers and tree care companies, and be able to differentiate between a company that places importance on standards, education and ethics, and companies that are working simply for a profit. ITP is the only company in the area that has a pruning/removal crew on which there are three certified arborists. All pruning technicians and plant health care technicians with ITP are ISA certified arborists. ITP and Ezekiel provide a standard of tree care and service unmatched by any other commercial provider. We take great pride in the company we’ve built and it shows. Approximately 80% of our business is through word of mouth, referral and repeat clients.

Zeke has been working in the ‘green’ industry for nearly 20 years. He started in Seattle, WA as a landscape design and maintenance project manager for a gated community, with gardens installed in the early 1900’s. During this time, Zeke realized his passion for plants and trees and quickly decided to make it his life’s work.
